Vasilia Pangere (Bessie) is a founding partner of Arshad, Pangere & Warring, LLP, licensed to practice law in Indiana since 2003. A Certified Family Law Mediator, she focuses her efforts in the areas of family law, including child custody and child support.
Bessie brings a cross-disciplinary perspective to trial practice. Proficient with accounting and bookkeeping programs, Bessie offers clients unique insights into the financial aspects of legal transactions. An attorney who has earned an undergraduate major in Economics and a minor in Business Administration from Valparaiso University in 2000, she is knowledgeable about the financial issues associated with business, divorce, and separation. In addition, as a law clerk, Bessie has researched and prepared motions, memoranda, and legal briefs for civil, municipal, family law, contract, complex litigation, class action, and business law cases. She brings these experiences to trial practice.
Active in the legal profession, Bessie is a member of the Women Lawyers Association, the Inns of Court, the Indiana Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Knowledgeable about various issues in the law, Bessie served as an adjunct professor at Valparaiso University from 2006 to 2007 where she helped students cultivate their legal aspirations. She has served as a Juvenile Court Public Defender in the Child Support, IVD Division since 2005. Bessie also has experience serving as a Guardian Ad Litem in cases.
